Album would either be The Kooks - Inside In Inside Out. However, 2006 was a crap year for albums and an even worse year for films IMHO.
Movie: V for Vendetta!
The album part is too hard to decide..
-- Moonshade
Love, Peace and Linux
I'm going to struggle with this, as only a few things spring to mind, but I'm not sure if they are the best.
Film - I think V, I think Weaving does the part well, as does portman. Its a little daring in the slant it puts on governments, more so in the current climate.
I can't think of another film that stands out that I've seen.
Album: Damian Rice - 9 Good follow up to a classic initial release. I'd also consider have a nice day
It is Inevitable.....
movie : saw 3
album :AFI-December underground
i enjoyed convenant but also the new bond film is good
album thats realllly hard probably the stone sour album that was awesome
EVE - Online ( TiMeZeRo225, Proper Emo, Facter )
World of Warcraft:
Eu:The Shattar ( TiMeZeRo )
Eu:Shattered halls (Pakapunch, Sigari, Eitu)
CS:S - TiMeZeRo
too hard to decide, not because there was so many good stuff to choose from, but it's hard to pick the mediocre out of a bad bunch.
Will have to go with James Bond for film, as it's the only one thats stuck in my head.....music - absolutely nothing, no contenders.
album : gnarls Barkley st. elsewhere
movie is a toughie for me been away from movies this year.... pirates 2 was cool but I haven’t seen many this year probably because most looked crappy

Album - My Chemical Romance : The Black Parade
Movie - Munich (Or was that 2005 as I distinctly remember buying it this year)
I really like The Kaiser Chiefs album Employment (Predict a Riot is an awesome tune! ) I bought a few weks ago, also like the Ordinary Boys Brassbound and also How to get everything.... Other than that I havn't bought many CD's this year. With regards to movies I have enjoyed Hills Have Eyes remake but nothing really has stood out for me. I must admit Pirates 2 was decent but once again didn't seem to have the edge the first one did.
Been a strange kinda year!
