    MSN problem

    For some reason for the last few days MSN has been playing up recently.
    - Randomly it will just start hogging all the resorces my poor computer can throw at it.

    CPU usage suddenly jumps upto 65%, memory usage goes though the roof, and as a result the whole computer grinded to a wacking great holt!
    - Only was of fixing it is to end-task MSN and fire up again, its then fine for a while, untill inevetiably it does it again.

    Once i stuck it on "above average" prioraty and cpu usaged got upto 96% before i was force to hit the reset button.

    I dont think anything changes at all to cause this, and ive run all the AntiVirus/Spyware programs ive got and found nothing.

    Only thing that has changed recently is im "hibinating" the pc a lot.
    - Prevously i would just stick it no standby anytime i was away during the day, and shut it down fully at night.
    - Now i tend to hibinate it 4/5 times a day, and only fully shut it down or reboot about every 2/3days or when i have to (windows updates etc)
    - But i've been doing this for a good month, and MSN was fine till late last weekish.

    Any thoughts, other than ditch msn for Trillian/Miranda/GAIM which i'd rather not do.

    This is MSN live Build8.0.0812.00, with MSN plus build4.01.240

    Try going back to a clean MSN install with no addons.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
