i absolutely cannot find a way to start with nature towers
If you want to use nature, you need one water tower too. stick it right in the middle and give it the first few upgrades, then build up the nature towers.
You don't need a water tower to start with. You can get to level 50, without losing anyone, with 1 fully upgraded nature tower by sticking it at the bottom of the first straight as seen in the screenshot above.
made it to 80
Umm, L16 so far on 1st attempt. It seems to get easier
81! All nature towers, one at the end of every straight and 4 across the bottom which seem to do most of the damage.
I might try again with all ice, because they've got greater range.
The only other thing I can think of is a level 3 mega cannon at the bottom, the damage is huge. Not sure if I could ever afford that though!

refining the tactics to try to get the flower towers, as they are the only thing powerful enough to really sustain higher levels.
Check out the cost of upgrades to a level 2 flower tower
