how do you get | on the keyboard?

    A Random question.

The button next to the number '1' on the keyboard has 3 functions:

    ¬
    `
    |

What is the keystoke for the vertical bar? I can only get the other two by:

    `
or shift ` to get ¬
I have to use the character map everytime i want to use it, which isn't often to be fair.

    Regards

    Stephen

Simply hold down alt and play with the numpad numbers.
for some you hold the numbers down together, others you press the numbers in a sequence (all while holding alt mind) for example:

    hold alt and press -
    • 3 and 5 (together) gives - ☼
    • 7,4 and 5 in sequence gives - Ú

then just play around and you get different ones.
