Just remembered a tip for those that have to make their own coffee in the office: coffee is required, there is no point in just filling a caffitier with hot water and hoping for the best.

Like wise, you need a cup and a tea bag (minimum) to make a cup of tea. Just boiling the kettle doesn't work.

I hope someone else finds these tips valuable

(these were discovered this week after staring too long at a screen and not moving or having any music to prevent the catatonic state)

I got one of these for £10 from firebox. They are actually really good, I've kept coffee on there for well over an hour and it still remains hot.

I received mine from Amazon, and I've been let down.

Photobucket is down, so no pics ATM, but suffice to say the product on the picture of the box does not match the product in a fairly significant way, I'll wait until I can show the picture, it's more dramatic

Also it needs an external PSU (not supplied) to get to a decent temperature. If I didn't work in an electronics/engineering lab I would have been stuck.

Looks like I should have bought the £10 version!

I agree, there is a power input for 5V, but no adaptor. So it probably wouldn't be able to handle the power of 2 devices plus an electricity to heat converter.

Still I feel cheated, even if it was less than £10.
