Yep I know I've missed it.
I couldn't have come in Feb as its the busiest time at work, leave isn't banned but I get evil looks from my colleagues if I book time off then.
Hopefully I'll be driving by the end of 2007 so that'll help.
I don't think MK will become a city in our lifetime as I reckon it takes at least a hundred years for a place to build up some character and at the min there is the 'centre' which is mostly bars and shops and thats about it, anyway thats another topic.
Personally, if I won the lottery I'd move back to London, no offence meant to anyone but I prefer a real city.
I'll look forward to seeing the next MK one on the board and meeting you all.

Tiggs, London meet, can you move it further into June? Am in Ibiza on that date (9th) And really don't want to miss out on the localish meet!

How far is the pub from the station / transport?

Probably a fiver taxi ride, a £1-50 bus ride, or 4 miles by foot/car/skates etc.

Bar Kick. Its in a trendy area between liverpool street station and old street station. This is great access for any one coming north east. People comming from Euston/Kings x, its just down on the northan line. And people coming from bristol way are going to have too have fun on the tube... Anyone coming into london from paddington is always going too have 'fun'.

I've resorted too walking back too paddington from a club in-between farringdon and angel before now!
Getting too and from paddington is quite hard, because essentially, its only got 2 different routes (bakerloo, district/circle/hammersmith).

It is my intention to make at least 1 meet this year even though I didnt turn up to MK I was disappointed to miss it!
If I can, I will do my best to come to the London one - especially since that is the weekend after my exams so I can have fun without feeling guilty for not studying!!
