I think Tom Bombadil is the personification of the land itself, hence his power within the forest and his immunity to the One Ring.

"Well, there was your Uncle Tiberius who died wrapped in cabbage leaves but we assumed that was a freak accident."
Can anyone who actually thinks that TeePee actually has read the final book please raise their hands.

Very good, mostly about Hermione.
Im a good friend of JKR's and i can personally tell you that dumbledore does return, she was interested in the obi-wan kenobi death and is making a similar transition with dumbledore and harry, believing that his spirit will serve harry better.
Snape is not a death eater, but a friend to dumbledore, snape dies saving harry from voldermort.
However she is still usnsure if harry and Volermort will share the same fate due to the curse and power transference which occured when he tried to kill harry.
Unfortunately the above comment isnt true, were not good friends, more pen pals
I read somewhere that JK Rowling would like to write another book in the future and call it Harry Potter And The Mid Life Crisis
Who actually proof reads these things? Surely there must be a dodgy copy floating around somewhere?
With love and many thanks,
Melons
Apparently, she finished writing the book a couple of weeks ago as she signed a statue bust in the scottish hotel she was staying in.
I think one or more of the main characters will die as it does say in the order of the phoenix book that only 1 can survive, so that means that either voldemort or harry would die, and they wouldn't allow voldemort to die.
I also think that ron and hermione get together in the last book as they've been hinting at it for a while, one of them could sacrifice themselves for the other or for harry.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
