Dog Pip Black & White Springer Spaniel STOLEN with 2 other dogs 06/10/2006 Ancaster, nr Grantham Lincs

^ is on page 4 of the above website.

We lost our cat on Christmas Eve 2005. Registered with various online petsearch databases, rspca etc. They were nearly as chuffed as we were when the little beast turned up on someones doorstep nearly two months later , painfully thin & edgy, but soon back to full health.

Hope there is a happy ending to this story, she is lucky to have been found by you

    Thanks Mrs Dak

Her owner phoned me an hour ago, said she'd rang the Dog Warden to report her Dog missing and got my number, she's been to collect her, however I am concerned because the Lady said she'd been missing since yesterday afternoon, I wouldn't of expected a Dog to be in as bad condition as she was after just a day, absolutely filthy and skin and bone....I tried ringing the Dog Warden for advice, as he'd agreed she was amaciated when he visited her earlier, couldn't get hold of him so i'll ring again tomorrow to see if he can't check up on them, wasn't happy letting her go but didn't know where I stood legally. she could accuse me of kidnap or something.

I have the Lady's number and I asked her if the Dog Warden had her details she said he had

Feel really guilty now hope I havent sent her back to a life of misery

She was happy enough to see her, approached her with her tail wagging and jumping on her... no probs there at all, it's just her condition.

2 of our cats are strays one of them sat in front of my mums car, meowed and refused to move she was suffering from cat flu and has now got a dodgy eye because of it and the second cat started coming round my house about 2 years ago, started eating leftover vegetables in the bin so my mum started feeding him and letting him in then one morning we let him out and he came back with a broken jaw, so we took him to vets and he stayed with us ever since lol my mum referred to him as the tabby when he was coming round and now he comes to that name lol

if your really concerned about the dogs home then perhaps maybe calling the rspca as they will do home visits i believe and take away the dog

I suppose that you could always ask the dog warden or RSPCA to keep an eye on the situation. Would not do any harm- some people just do not know how to care for animals.

No - that's killing two stones... (sorry).

Anyhoo, you're a saint Shelly, I hope the little might is happy back with her owner, and if not maybe the wardens will get her back to you.
They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them.
