Problem with new XFX Geforce 6200 256 Mb AGP Card

I just bought a new XFX GeForce 6200 AGP card (XFX/PVT44AWANG/256MB) for my second system and the display is always badly corrupted from power on ie in the POST screens and in Windows even before installing any drivers.

I bought this graphics card yesterday. However, the display is always badly corrupted from Power On (ie on all the POST screens before and after Windows loads).

I have tried it on another system and it gives exactly the same problem. Both motherboards have the latest versions of the BIOS. I think the card must be faulty because the original graphics cards in each of the machines work fine.

I think its faulty but does anyone have any other ideas. The PSU is rated at 300W.
