What GPU overclocking tools do you use?

    Hi there,

I'm getting ready to overclock my 8800 now that I've successfully overclocked my E6600 at a comfortable FSB.

What tools do and would you use to overclock a 8800?

wow thats cold. i assume the watercooling cools the GFX aswell?

Another program that you could use is rivatuner. its more in depth and has a lot more features than ATI tool however this also makes it more complicated

Temps go too high when I overclock, I went away whilst it was setting an overclock and my system had frozen (obviously went too far)

Basically anything under 90c is safe so just be carefull, and most 8800gts (640) should be able to do 580/1000, run the artifact scanner for 15 minutes and if it doesnt pick anything up give a game a blast for an hour to see if its stable if not wind down the clocks abit.
