Quick question about tft dead pixels

say a company has a 4 dead pixels return policy, is that within the entire three year warranty or just within say 30 days of first purchase?

    thanks

It depends on the manufacturer, if you know they have a four pixel policy then it will be in the normal guarantee period normally.
Depends on the placement of the broken pixels etc, check with manufacturer is the best advice.

.. I wouldnt buy a TFT without being able to see the actual model working first (But I'm probably papanoid) - we had some come in to college with several broken pixels as soon as they were turned on, it was a real pain.

wel i have a few tft's already with two dp so just wonderd what the warranty covered. its very very hard to pin the manufacturers down on anything to do with DP which is rather poor considering the amount of money u spend on one

They should do something about it coz isn't it true that only about a quater of TFT screens pass quality tests and the rest get scrapped?

That would explain the huge price as well!
