    BFG Vs EVGA

I am about to buy an 8800gtx. I know that the 2 most popular good companies are EVGA and BFG.
They are both the same price and bacsically identical, so it just comes down to the company.

When RMAing a card with EVGA or BFG, where do they ask you to send the card to?

If one asks to send to the UK and another to the USA, I would much prefer the UK one just for peace of mind.

    Many thanks,
    Sital

    BFG: lifetime warranty
EVGA: warranty isn't void when overclocking IIRC.

Just get a BFG card because the have a depot in wales for RMA or so I'm told and plus you should get a free T-Shirt

BFG + EVGA lifetime warranty is only in america becasue in europe we only get 10 years because of european laws or so I have read

Many of the BFG cards also come factory overclocked already.

We've already had the BFG vs EVGA thread http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=111311

bfg, never had or heard of anyone with problems with them. even tho ocing voids their warranty i know if you do it carefully but the card stops working later on they will still replace it and not be fussy.

    lol nice

If I remember right BFG have a returns depot in wales and for EVGA you have to return it to Germany, but seeing as these cards are fast there should be no need to OC it just yet

plus I have just brought a BFg 8800 gts 320mb for the other halfs pc

Is it really worth paying the extra over these unbranded GTX's?

The main difference seems to be warranty...
