    When you consider a new 9600 Pro card is going for around £125 don't think you can really go wrong with that at all. You'll see a big difference from what you are running at the moment.

    I used to always go for the N-Vidia cards right from the TNT2 upover and changed to ATI back end of last year (Radeon 9600 Pro) and pleased I did. I personally think the ATI image quality on desktop and also in the games is better.

    I can run all the current releases in 1024x768x32 with 2AA and 2AF enabled and all the details set to maxx in the game and I get no slowdown at all. Tron 2.0 looks absolutely amazing and so does Max Payne 2

    mt50: nothing to be sorry about, the mt50 is a 50 cc rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishpiece of the very lowest order. I just thought it might be so old and rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish that it had become "retro chic"!!!

    its a good buy, buy better would be a powercolor 9600pro @ £100 or a Connect3D ATI Radeon 9600XT 128MB & Half Life 2 Bundle

    assuming you will be buying HL2 anyway (£35) it only makes the connect3D card £5 more expensive than that 9500...

    They're better than the normal ones I think, but not the XT's.

    What made the 9500 great was its moddability.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
