    nvidia tools

    i am looking for nvidia gfx overclocking tools ntune doesnt save the overclocked setting for some reason

    also it would be helpful if they were vista compatible thanks!

    rivatuner and ntune wont let me test the overclock before applying anyone know why?

    Not sure if coolbits still works under vista, but its a simple registry entry:

    HKLM\Software\Nvidia Corporation\Global\NTweak

    Within there add a new DWORD value called Coolbits with a hex value of 3 (if it's already there, just change the value from 0 to 3).

    Next time you open the nVidia control panel you now have an option for clock settings.

    Edit: Forget it - just tried it with the newest drivers - it won't let you do anything without installing their "nTune" application first - probably the worst piece of overclocking software ever written.

    Google ATi Tools - probably better to use this now.
