I recently swapped out my radeon agp 9800 with a radeon pci-e x700 in order to get 2 dvi outputs.

previously the 9800 ran both my LCD monitors at native res (1680x1050 using DVI and the other at 1600x1200 using VGA)

now if I try running both native using DVI on the x700, I get shifting and flickering on one monitor while the other is stable all the time. if I drop the resolution down from 1600x1200 to 1280x1024 the problem goes away.

is this down to the x700 being unable to run both monitors at native res or could this be fixed by the right driver (using latest catalyst 7.8)? or could it even have something to do with my m/b (asrock dual vsta)?
