    Grr WTF!?

    OKay, dilemma:
I can boot windows into Safe mode and everything will display ok.
I can't boot windows normally as after it gets past teh Windows XP loading screen the monitor goes dead (i.e. no signal being recieved).

So i boot into safe mode, remove graphics drivers, reboot, windows loads normally, with no nvidia drivers, but looks rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishty when doing things like scrolling webpages. (It's like being on remote assistance.)
I install the latest nVidia drivers for my GF4MX440, reboot, wtf, same rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish again. Back to the start.

So i do it all again but install some older nvidia drivers, still the same. I used some "driver cleaner" or something, and tried it all, still didn't work...

    Any ideas anyone?

Are you using any sort of refresh rate fix program? They usually kick in at startup and if you've selected a refresh rate not supported by your monitor(might be too high) it sometimes causes this problem.

What motherboard are you using? Could be your chipset drivers causing problems.
