Gfx card seems to be a 8800GTS 512MB though, thats a pretty decent card, even at 1920 x 1200 but I suppose if you feel the need to upgrade you feed the need.
the point many are missing is this, it ISNT about which card best on paper but which card best for YOU.
end of the day 4870 best card i feel for high end gaming and like others said a little overclocking and it will pass 280. though no overclocking and it 15% slower.tht all..
Also unless you have a 24"+monitor running 1900+res/super high there NO NEED FOR 280..
go ahead and buy 280 if you sitting in front of a huge monitor, but end of the day 4870 best card for 99% of people.
if you LOVE nvdia so much and do love their cards then grab a 260, end of day 4870 will last a long time, not as long as 280 but the price differance a joke, and by the time to upgrade you can buy another card and STILL have cash left over in differance.
Basicaly:
A:get 280 if you got huge monitor running stupidly unhuman res compared to others...
b:get 4870 for normal high end gaming with a good card to last furture.
c:get a 260 if you love nvdia soo much.
