    Help choosing a gfx card

    Hi Guys,

Im building a new pc around a Q9450 and need some help choosing a GFX card......

I have seen a very cheap "Leadtek 9800GTX" for £117 and im not sure wether to go for this or pay the extra and buy a "Sapphire HD4870" for £183.17.

I understand the HD4870 is a faster card, but is it worth the extra cost?

    Cheers for help in advance

What resolution do you plan to play out?

The HD4850 from ATi trades blows with the 9800, each having their favoured game. THe HD4870 will be better at giving all the eye candy at 1920 x 1200 but all cards mentioned are more than capable at that resolution or less.

The resolution will be 1680x1050 (22" widescreen)

Stick to the 9800 or HD4850 then, no need for the HD4870.
