£100 for that? Thats half of what a new system would cost him (going down the recycling rout, same case, HDD, OS, new GPU, PSU, CPU, Mobo, and will give no where near the same frame rates

The 3650 AGP with DDR3 memory is a very good upgrade path (if you can find one) the DDR2 version is a little slower but still a good card.

try getting something like a 7600gt for about £40 from ebay I was looking at something similar recently but got a x800xt instead (slightly cheaper)
