    3d mark 2003 score

    have just instaled the 4.3 cat drivers and have done a 3d mark test which gave me 5857 score. this is the spec of my machine:

    intel p4 2.6ghz
    abit ic7-max3 board with latest bios
    1gig of kingston hypermax memory
    radeon 9800
    windows xp pro
    how does that score sound

    Thats about right, maybe a little low... try comparing on the ORB they'll be ALOT of results to compare with! I presume that everything was stock when the test was ran?

    its the pro version and everything was stock

    I'm getting 6029 with a Radeon 9800XT, Abit NF7-S, 1 gig mem and AMD 1700@2000mhz.

    Ethos: Thats a fantastic score for your card......what speeds r u running it at, I have a 9700np (but with 2.86ns Sam mem - want to flash badly), I'm only getting approx 4900 @ stock (275core 270mem), cant get it stable with radclocker

    psalliss theres nothing wrong with that score if the card is at stock everything, a small overclock will see your scores up to 6000 and beyond.

    I have a 9600XT, it manages a pathetic 4320! I clocked it at 545/335.

    Or you have to realise that on every system 3d mark acts as a random number generator.

    A64 3200+ (stock)
    Gigabyte K8n Pro
    2*256 Mushkin Black Lvl II
    Hercules 9800se (softied at 392/359mem)
    2*37gig Raptors Raid 0
    Win XP Pro
    Gonna push the chip up a little to see what it does.
