    Onboard 9400 Driver

Although this my be a silly question to ask, I'm going to ask it anyway

    I have a Gigabyte E7-AUM-DS2H and I was wondering..
The drivers on Nvidia's website, are they for onboard graphics aswell?

    Re: Onboard 9400 Driver

The VGA drivers come as one installable pack with all the drivers for everything else on the motherboard:

    http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk

Check the box for the nForce 7 series and you will see the relevant drivers in the product box.

    Re: Onboard 9400 Driver

Managed to get the drivers sorted, everything's running fine.. all be it the new case and psu are too loud and I'm stuck on what to do short of buying a 3rd case or psu.

    Re: Onboard 9400 Driver

What case and PSU is it??

The only way to actually reduce the noise of many micro PSUs is to mod the PSU with a quieter but similar air flow fan or to go for a passive unit. The picoPSU 150w would be able to power your setup fine. The best thing would be to get a power meter from Maplins and see what the power consumption of you system is at load.

Here are some threads on it:

    Re: Onboard 9400 Driver

A decent 250w to 300w would be more than enough for your system BTW. Shuttle SFF PCs like the G2,G5 and H7 series have 250w to 300w PSUs and people are running quad cores in these with no power issues or dual cores with a PCI-E graphics card.

    This thread will be useful:

    Edit!

    Just seen this one:

    http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/labs/...String=enermax

It come as part of this case for under £30:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...source=froogle

I would probably have a quick check with Scan to make sure about the PSU in case they have changed it.

Another PSU would be this Seasonic:

    Re: Onboard 9400 Driver

Some good news, I have a replacement 300w Flex PSU being shipped to me from China so it's going to be about a week to 10 days before I see it.

2 cases, 3 PSU's so far.. getting a bit expensive for a budget build, especially as I'm on disabillity.
