    26-28" + Monitor - HDMI/DVI - £2-350

    Hi all,

I am currently looking at new monitors but there seems to be an insane array and I am sure the models I am looking at have been out for an eternity, surely newer models are hidden away on different websites?

I needed advice on which screen to get. I am currently running 1920*1200 on a 24" and would like to be running the same resolution on a 26-28". It needs to have an HDMI port for a Xbox360 (Monitor does not need built-in speakers) and then either another HDMI port or a DVI Port as my GTX280 can output via HDMI though I do not know if there is any advantage/disadvantage to using HDMI over the DVI output.

Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with larger monitors? In one of the shops I work at we have a 28" Hanns-G and from a couple of foot away it is pretty blurry and nasty in my opionion, customers love it though. (We may have been using a VGA input on that monitor though?)

Currently I am looking at a Samsung 26" (T260) £257.23 however I am pretty sure this one has been out for a while now. Saying that though...Z5500's have been out for a long time and they are still incredible!

    Thanks for any feedback!

ooo, and on a side note, if you think it is really necessary perhaps the budget could be increased to absaloute max £500...but the results should be incredible!

I can't vouch for the T260, although I have a T240 and it's incredible, so I imagine the T260 would be the same, but +2".
