    Monitor size/res, colour temp!

Just wondering what u guys are running! I'm playing around with mine at the moment!

    Either 1280x1024 @ 85hz
    or 1600x1200 @ 75hz

On my 19" flat screen crt... I prefer 1600x1200 due to more space, but at 75hz it'll take a while to get used too

Also colour temp, 9300k ("blueish" or 6500k (warmer)?

    1280x1024 @ 80hz on a CTX 17" CRT
used to run 1600x1200 @ 75 but that did my eyes in after a while - helpful for graphics work tho.
    at work i use 1152x864 @ 75 *mumble* crappy generic monitor */mumble*

Want a new monitor but good gaming 19" TFTs are expensive, and no space for 19" CRT.
hmmm maybe its time to move house

21" Multisync LCD has to run @ 1600x1200, optimal resolution anything else and it looks jagged. Got a 19" CRT running at 1280x1024 @ 70Hz (dual monitor ).

Cant get the two to colour match exactly, but running them a tiny bit warm rather than blue.

1600x1200 on my Dell 15" ultrasharp TFT - show me a desktop LCD that'll match it for under £500 and I might think of ditching my Sony G420 19" CRT, also running 1600x1200 at 90hz. LCD is very clear and great geometry/contrast but the CRT has far better colour and quality with moving images. I absolutely detest with a vengeance the crappy RM/Viglen LCDs we have in the labs. 1024x768 max res doesn't give enough real-estate and in some rooms the ghost's not been set up correctly so they're initially set up with 800x600 - serious blurrrrrrr.

It's getting a bit old now and the corners are starting to get a bit blurry, want to replace it with a large (~21") TFT at some point, and reclaim some desk space

Aye iiyama VM Pro 454. Best monitor I have ever used by far. Would take it over a TFT any day of the week.
