    How about this motherboard?
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/MSI-7...dio-GB-LAN-ATX

Could have the chance of unlocking a core or 2 aswell then, i know its AM3 but really DDR2 is similar pricing and you might aswell pay the extra £5 for it .

Wow rep to all the peeps helping out with a difficult problem! I need to visit here more often. I've actually started to price up a new rig but in all honesty something about £150 is only really what I can currently afford. Here is what i've been looking at on eBuyer although will be swapping bits in/out to suit my own budget. I went for the onboard gfx to save ££'s.

AMD Athlon II 425 X3 Socket AM3 512KB L2 Cache Retail Box Processor:
    176042
    £54.42

Asus M4A785TD-V EVO 785G Socket AM3 onboard DVI VGA HDMI 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard
    169532
    £67.50

    Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz/PC3-10666 XMS3 DHX Memory Kit
    148817
    £100

CM Storm Scout Case - 120mm and 2x 140mm Fans Included
    165238
    £69.99

    1 x LiteOn IHAS324 24x DVD RW Dual Layer & RAM SATA
    173553
    £17.38

    Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2 Socket 775, 1156, 1366, AM2, AM3 Heatpipe CPU Cooler
    176157
    £19.67

~However after reading the above ... I think i'm going to have to revise my list

I'm not a fan of the freezer 7; you can start with the stock and upgrade later if you start ocing? the HDT-1283 (from scan) and CM 212 (from play) are better value.
