Just don't know what to do then, a max of 80 to spend and has to be better or on par with a 4850

    Re: 4850 Died :(

I would say get a 5750 or 5770 but as you can see i am running a GTX460 768mb which uses 2x6pin pci-e connector and i only have 1 and i'm using a molex to 6pin for the other in my corsair 400w and i have had no issues but build quality my corsair is probably better than your silverpower and it can pull much more wattage than 400w without issues.

Personally i'm holding out until the 6000 cards hit the shelves and then going to try and grab a cheap 5770, if you can wait a while could be the best choice for you too.

    Re: 4850 Died :(

How long roughly is it till the 6000 series comes out? if not what are peoples thoughts on a GTX-260 on a 400w power supply considering the low draw of my system? im sure in total it would take less than 300W in full draw leaving 100+ for spare?

    Re: 4850 Died :(

I think you need to weigh it up as 400W from the 12V rail. I would say no, there must be a 4850 kicking around for 35-40 odd....somewhere....
