    The GT430 is very expensive. The GT240 is a faster card and costs less too.

    The DDR3 and 4 ROPs mean that the GT430 is a downgrade over the GT240. It also 4th generation PureVideo too like the GT240.

    Appreciate the comments Cat, but from most reviews I've read, the 240 is better for gaming, whereas the 430 *seems* to get better reviews for HD playback and esp transcoding. Oh well, tis done now

    wooohoooo, with money left over from the honeymoon, I now have permission (teehee) to buy my new 1080p monitor, and have placed an order for the Ilyama 22" full HD at £110

    scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.
