    Yes Howard, 3" more would increase the price by that much. Have a look around at the 17", 18", 19" and 20" Monitors, compare the specs, then compare the size, and finally, compare the price.

    Its the same thing with Televisions. A 28" Sony TV would cost aprox. £450. The same model as a 32" would cost almost £800. Thats almost £100 an inch, its stupid, and silly, but thats how it is.

    I beg to differ. The price variance between tube sizes on TVs is nowhere near that large

    HP L2335 widescreen 23" TFT

    About £1,500 inclusive from a couple of UK retailers, mind

    If I can find a retailer selling these in Sweden for this price I'm getting me one.


    Originally I was looking at the Samsung 240T, a 24" at 25ms which appears to be more expensive, oddly, but has rave reviews.

    Only 4years of uni left, then I can start working.. And maybe get a nice tft, reckon they will have sorted the response time by then ?

    Get the Iiyama E511S - about £700 - from what I hear it's the best monitor since sliced bread
