7850 is a great card (amazing value) for watch those offers on the 7950, it has the extra grunt and vram to be useful far longer for more complex games. People will say is it worth the extra. but if you plan on ever doing triple screen or 1440p or want more than FX AA in the more complex titles with the HD textures packs the 7950 is the best value card right now.

Value is 7850, value Image Quality and Future proof is 7950.

    3XS i7 2600k 4.9 Ghz, P67, FT02 SE, MSi GTX 680, 4GB DDR3, OCZ Revo 2 x2 PCIE SSD 240 GB, G930 7.1.

I'm strongly leaning towards the 7870 as the best value card after the latest round of price cuts.

Notably cheaper, cooler and quieter and in many games very very close to the 7950.
