u made the right choice nomadd. Its a good place here. i used to be a member of the overclockers forum. but didnt agree with their policy of punishing people with low post counts and having a laugh about it with the peolple who start the arguements so i deleted my account there.

but its all different here. i have seen bad posts about resellers here b4. but they all had solid proof of what they were saying and not simple flaming posts. and they werent deleted because there was no slander involved.

Hexus is like the hippy movement of I.T. unlike some of the nazi forums we all used to frequent. But glad to hear ur staying.

But i have too say i think its wrong that hexus should be punished with law suits for the actions of individuals on a public forum. Instead of threatening lawsuits perhaps these companys should take note and fix problems instead.

As for overclockers uk they have at least made an effort recently with customer service and i found their response and action to be much better than 2 years ago which tbh was terrible. So they deserve some credit

Looks like Ebuyer are doing a similar thing:

Is this likely to be soft modded aswell, or are there genuine "out of the box" X800 Pros with all 16 pipes turned on. I have also heard that some people who have purchased the Gigabyte X800 pro VIVO have discovered that their cards also had 16 pipes active out-of-the box.

    OcUK's 16pipe Pro is a Connect3D. Maybe its a limited edition from Connect3D?

The mind Boggles. You can order the new XT cards all over the place, true u will have to wait but companies like Dabs are normally quite good on preorders !

The prices charged for this modded card is an outrage when the real card will cost like £20 - 50 more depending how well you shop. My 6800 Ultra only cost me £340 shipped from Dabs ! I mean Crikey it will go down but I prefer that then paying £310 for a modded lower spec card ! with out twin DVI!

Ebuyers card is a lot cheaper than OcUK's, just under £300 at Ebuyer and £338 at OcUK.
