    I'm not a fan of any pre-modded stuff. It just takes the fun away.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I think Ocuk will offer a year's warranty with this card, and as it is essentially a softmod, even if things get fubared.. a simple bios flash should sort it out if u need to RMA it.

    Before anyone thinks of criticising a company on our forums don't bother. Take it to their support channels, we don't want the lawsuit thanks very much.

    If you want to comment on a company use http://users.hexus.net, not these forums

    LOL RMA mentioned in the same sentence as OcUK and suddenly mod jumps on it not to critices a company how bizarre.

    The thing I don't like about premodded stuff (moving swift back on topic) is that they charge you extra for doing something you could do quite easily yourself, the vivo model was about £30 cheaper iirc.

    Ouch, didn't think Hexus worked that way. Only reason I joined, as I didn't think you were like the OcUK forums. I wondered why posts seemed to go missing from here - thought it was my memory!

    Oh well, guess I'll call it a day here and go back to uk.vendor.comp. Seems to be the only place left where free speech still survives intact.

    Admin: please could you delete my account (registered under the username of Nomadd). Many thanks.

    Too all the Hexus crowd: All the best wishes in the future.

    Cheers,

    Nomadd : The thread has been heavily edited. There was a lot, of blatent rude, nasty, and just slagging off posts. We dont allow posts that degrade the forum in such a way, being about company is irrelivent
    We have a retailer ratings system at : http://users.hexus.net/companies_list.php
    Not only do we want to hear your side of the story, we encourage people to use it as much as they can, as it helps everyone

    We have had "issues" with a certain company in the past, some very serious ones infact. We try to help people give their side of the story as much as we can, but as Az as pointed out, Lawsuits are somthing we wish to avoid, as then we wouldnt have the forums or the retailer ratings.

    Hopfully there wont be any need to delete your account . We dont go deleting posts unless its 100% nesscery, and when we do, we will always try to PM the person and explain why.
    We dont have strict rules, we are very easy here, with what we consider to be a "common sence policy" on almost everything (things like no warez, no trolling ect..). If you have any issues, just tell us what they are and we'll try to sort them out.

    Feel free to drop me a PM if you have any questions that you dont want to post.

    Nomadd you can't say fairer than that, I think leaving forever is a bit melodramatic, lol. Everyone is great here, and mostly all British. Stay!

    ............

    Well, There are some things I like about this forum, and some I dislike! If I wish to talk about warez I go some place else! If I wish to bash a company I go some place else, If I wish to be rude I go some place else! This is a nice place! And very friendly! Lets keep it that way!

    Edit: Got a complaint? I'd like to hear about it on the IRC!

    Hang on a minute...

    Hexus isnt trying to be difficult. Slagging of compnaies is slander and that could hexus into some serious trouble... expensive. That risk cant be taken. Nobodys trying to be difficult.

    Hope you'l stay nomadd

    Guys,

    Thanks for the messages of support. Decided it's for the best to stay; Hexus is a very well-balanced place with some very good posters. Would hate to miss being involved in that.

    I guess I was just a bit annoyed with the tone of the initial intervention: "Before anyone thinks of criticising a company on our forums, don't bother." From an Admin, aimed at the forums members, that seemed a bit, er, harsh. Agent's post seemed much more polite, informative and reasonable. :-)

    The fact that I was wrestling with a multi-satellite set-up until 2:45 a.m. this morning didn't help my thinking, and my decision to 'jump ship' was definately rash in the middle of a stressful situation. I've chilled now - though the damn sat. rig still isn't working! More parts on the way; it's just like messing around with PCs, you never seem to finish! :-)

    Cheers,

    Nomadd

    Well we all have our own opinions on particular companies and my comment earlier was a joke, personally had no problems with OcUK.

    I can see both sides of the story alot of people see the internet as free speech, especially pretty openminded forums like this, the problem is that someone IS liable and its the people that host the site.

    Obviously hexus have to be careful.

    Very nice of these guys to supply a retailer rating service to be honest.
