Id love to know how my Amiga draw them pretty pictures of Intentional Karate Plus on my monitor way back in the mid 80's without using a graphics card that was first made in 1999. I must have had one of those rare magic Amiga's that used some weird unexplainable UFO technology.

Re: AMD Radeon HD 8 series

I can't see the point in buying an 8 series video card unless it has 3 displayports. Otherwise I think I will have no choice but to buy Nvidia.

Re: AMD Radeon HD 8 series

amd and nvida could do better .. but to much to soon would leave them without fanboi's and there yearly income .. it's all about money in the end not what we want or need ..

and my 5870 will do for a while yet ..
What does it matter now if men believe or no?
What is to come will come. And soon you too will stand aside,
To murmur in pity that my words were true

I kinda doubt that, GCN 2.0 Architecture, you know the same that's used on PS4 and Xbox1. I've been an avid Nvidia user for years, but no longer, Radeon for me next. Cancelled my 2 way 770s, I want something that will support the next gen ports better.

    Cheaper and better than Nvidia.

Re: AMD Radeon HD 8 series

Just reading this thread from OcUK http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/sho...php?t=18524382 and on the main site all but three of the cards have also gone on special offer http://www.overclockers.co.uk/produc...Asc&subid=1502

The 8 games deals runs until 31/07/2013 Could OcUK be trying to clear AMD stock to make way for new cards?
