    Upgrading from 9500np to 9700Pro

Going to swap my 9500np for a 9700Pro and just have a quick question. I'm using the latest Omega drivers.

Will I need to remove all of the drivers or can I simply remove the 9500np from Hardware Devices screen and then plug in the 9700Pro?

If I were you, I'd uninstall the Omegas, shut down, stick the new card in and reinstall the drivers. Although both cards use the same set of drivers, I think they use different parts of it (if that made any sense!)

That's what I've just done, except I also used Driver Clean. Everything seems to have gone well and getting 16k 3dmark01 on stock speeds, now to overclock

Teh cards have diff PCI device ID's so you shouldnt get conflicts anyway.. but always a good idea to clean the old drivers first... I once had 10 diff versions installed for my 9700 and each time I restarted it chose a diff version.. that was fun
