    Is there a shallow CRT?

I have an LG1210B TFT and it is excellent, but it still has slight ghosting on games which annoys me, is there any 19" CRT's that have a shallower depth than normal to fit on desk space? Most I see are 450mm deep

Viewsonic, Philips and Dell all used to do shorty CRTs, but as far as I can tell, they're pretty much dead - I'd guess because if people care that much they'll buy a TFT. With the way prices have come down, and the fact that a 17" TFT is pretty much the same in terms of screen area as a 19" CRT, it's not much wonder.

There are special CRT's currently in development which are almost as flat as a TFT but use a similar method to CRT's.
