New 19" Lcd Monitor Required, Need some Help choosing...

Guys help me decide on which screen I would like to update to

I have an LG1710B at the mo and love the quality of the pic so I want something along similar lines.

I have created a short list and would like your opinions.

The VX910 is fav at the mo as it has 16ms response and DVI.

I need a panel that won't ghost and has DVI if poss (what are people opinions on DVI?)

    Thoughts welcomed

    2 x Samsung 172X TFT Panels. 16ms response, 1280 x 1024 on 17" screen giving you a total desktop of 2560 x 1024

Silver in colour with 3/8" wide bezel, ideal for tiling for almost seamless 34" widescreen panel. Total cost is about £610

I have a iiyama 4821 19" panel which is a fabulous monitor (except it should be 1600 x 1200). If the 172X had been about when I bought the iiyama I would have bought 2 of them instead - and saved some cash!

Can't be bothered checking them out, but personally with anything 19" or above, I'll be wanting a res of 1600x1200, or else everything will look too big.

The 1600*1200 models are well out of my budget unfortunately

LG & Samsung appear to be the best. LG better response times Samsung better everything else. They manufacture (and a few others) the panels/screens all the other brands put in their tft's. Also LG are the only brand that put accurate response times on their website.
