    Yeah, I meant what about using a DVI-I port for one and a displayport for the other? I'm not 100% sure if I ran both monitors by VGA or if one was DVI, but I think I had two VGA outputs going using passive DVI-VGA and passive displayport-VGA

    If I get some spare time tomorrow I'll give it a go and let you know how I get on

    Looks like someone has already tried it with this adaptor and got it working at the res I'm after. Still, it's 20 quid for the adaptor, but cheaper than selling the screens and 'upgrading' to a lower 1080p res screen.

    I'd assume that it'll work the same on both Nvidia and AMD, so it's really down to just picking a new GPU if this is the case
