Re: Gtx 970, which one is it going to be?

Mine were definitely sent elsewhere as the parcel had my order number as the sender reference, so now I have to make an angry phonecall :x

I called DPD yesterday, they said the sender needs to contact them to raise an investigation. And now the Windforce OC is out of stock so I may as well wait for the G1s, going to try and argue getting them without paying more because lost delivery and all, they just claim more money back on the DPD insurance thing anyway.

Re: Gtx 970, which one is it going to be?

Right my options now are going to be cancel the whole order from Scan since they are OOS and order the G1s from OCUK today instead:

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=GX-147-GI

Unless Scan will offer me the G1s without charging more due to extra delay caused (and they can likely just claim £300 back per card from the insurance through DPD).

Re: Gtx 970, which one is it going to be?

I called scan and they said that they can get DPD to collect the parcel from wherever it was delivered to, and deliver it to me again tomorrow which I didnt know. They'll call me back later with progress on that, but then what if whoever it was delivered to have already opened and used them? :x

    This has never happened before.

That's the problem, if the receiver did open them and use them they might make more problems for you, and what i don't understand is how can someone sign for something that's not theirs, if i was you i would be thoroughly on their case.

Fun, check some of the sigs too:

    http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1086527

DPD are going back to wherever they supposedly sent my parcel today, and if they can retrieve it bringing it back to me. If it cant be retrieved Im demanding G1s without being charged more!

I must also Interrogate Paul if he is the one sorting it out and turns up with my parcel.

    EVGA 970 FTW!
I wouldn't have another Asus card. I had to send back 2 HD7970 CUii TOP's. Both were dodgy with either grey screens of terrible artifacts.
Got a Sapphire R9 290 now, otherwise my order would already be in for one of these.
Maybe the next model next year I could justify it.

Re: Gtx 970, which one is it going to be?

Hi again, finally got mine up and working, downloading the latest drivers and afterburner atm.

I had another large problem when I first installed them - somehow they killed my high end Antec HCP 1300w PSU. Took me a while to diagnose but its working for now with my old XFX 850w PSU, and I will get the Antec RMA'd asap.

Got a load of pictures too, and will get OCing / Benching soon, just gotta get all the drivers and stuff installed and sort out the nightmare state my desk is now in lol.

I checked my ASIC qualities, and I have a 67% and 70%, so they are pretty close and that should be good enough for some OCing.

Yeah i was close to getting it but then i just got the msi, reason being it being 30-40 pounds cheaper, well the price i got for any way.
Its still a beast of a gpu, so far i got it stable at +240 on the core and +570 on the mem and thats with a +50-67v, with out touching the fans and it stays at 66-67c while benching valley.
