The XL price will drop I believe. High-end PCI-E cards are selling at a premium at the moment because of their lack of availability. That will change shortly.

As I can tell no-one's got any of the Sapphire ones in stock, and they're not due until March. The Powercolour one's due 27/1/05 at Komplett, but is still £256. You'll either have to wait for a bit or stump up the extra £46, I'm afraid - unless someone knows another supplier that'd be quicker than Komplett?

I think OCers will get some in first, but they're Powercolor at £235.

I saw that the other day and contacted my man @ Sapphire

He told me that the 'March date' that you see on Komplett could simply be a 'default value' and that he was expecting to see volume on these cards much sooner than that

As soon as he lets me know when they will be hitting the stores - I will post it here

You assume that his price is less than that of a brand new graphics card?

Can't say I get that reaction often

I will chase down an answer on price/availability today...

...and - with a bit of luck - Rys will read about all this interest and feel guilty that he has not tested the card yet...
