I'd reccomend trying to get two Iiyama Prolite E431's

17" loveliness - I bought mine for £320 and haven't regretted it since, it was CPC's TFT of choice for about 5 months, and was only replaced because they thought a rival sharp one physically looked nicer... Absolute bargain at £180 (komplett)

ajbrun - it's just like having a normal monitor only with a break in the middle: the mouse goes across the gap and you just use windows as per normal...

It exactly the same as one huge widescreen, but there are just two monitors... It would be like cutting your current screen in half, only bigger (i wouldn't reccomend that BTW )
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

They are the exact ones I had in mind... in black.

I measured up last night and I can't fit two 19" ones on my desk (pesky IKEA) and two 18" ones would be very tight, so E431's I think it will be... Cheers Everybody !

Will stick a picture up when I get them...

Think of it not as two screens, but the same as your single screen just extra wide.

Its exactly the same as using a single screen, except that you can see much more onscreen.

the M$ fairies move your cursor from one screen to the other when ur cursor hits the edge of the screen, the graphics card is then booted by the M$ genie who gives control back to the user..

Personally I would prefer one large TFT. I just cant see what I would use the second monitor for.

It's gotta be two monitors, once you have two you will never go back

Yo famished u got one of them spare? greedy!

I prefer two, cos you can easily disable one using simple tool tray progs when you wanna game, and you don't use weird res' that give you stretched graphics.

Anytime I play anything I just disable one of the monitors. I only got them because they were only £350 each from aria and not £600 from dell.
