Unhappy Erm... Is this part important...?

I've just opened my Sapphire Radeon X800 XT, and I can see that theres a small yellow connector... thing, that seems to be soldered at an angle.

It's the bit on the top-right of the card.

I need to know if this is going to cause my new pc to explode in my face when I turn it on!?! Obviously, I haven't begun to put anything together, but i'd like to know if i need to send it back.

Anyone know what this part actually does? and if it's important, please let me know.

    Cheers.

VIVO audio connector; it uses an audio cable (like you get with CD drives) to hook up to the line-in/aux-in/whatever on the soundcard to provide audio along with the video from whatever source you're hooking up to the card.

After googling 'X800 yellow bit' not expecting to find any decent results I found this

    http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/vid...ay/r420_3.html

Seems it should be ok with out, its some sort of video in so you can connect it to a front panel on your pc, so you can plug your video or whatnot in I think

Ahh, thanks a lot, you've helped put my mind at rest.

I waited ages for this, and i was going to cry [ok, maybe just frown] if it was damaged!

I'm not planning on using it for anything other than pure hardcore gaming, so hopefully this won't cause any problems.

(Who would of thought google could handle something so vague...! )
