well u can use it to take all your old VHS onto your PC, buy ur PC will do any encoding.

Well if you don't know what you can do with video inputs and video outputs then VIVO is likely not very important for you.

Just about anything can be done with the right adapters etc...
You may be better off approaching it in a different way. Like if you tell us exactly what video related things you want to accomplish and ask what additional hardware and/or software you need to accomplish it.
If you just want to plug everything in so it looks neat you're wasting your effort. I mean, do you really need to plug in all the adapters you got with your videocard?
But like, say you wanted to use your computer to record TV programs. That is one thing you can do, but will it do it the way you want? It's really better to have a tuner in your computer if you wish to record TV. It's just easier and more versatile.
Just depends on what you want to do. Sure you CAN do that stuff you spoke of, but just because you can do something doesn't mean you should necessarily.

You will need to hook everything up so that audio and video gets recorded while still being able to see the game you're playing, so that might be the tricky part. Shouldn't be much of a problem though.
