I know it's legit, it's just the matter of them not doing anything to combat people who use bots to buy it

they're not the only site though, curry's, amazon, no anti-bot measures there either for example.

its mad, i gave up on a 3080 and bought a 3070, 3 days later i snagged a 3080fe, Sold the 3070 on for the 613 i paid for it to a local lad along with the receipt, done the same with 2 other pre-orders that were eventually fulfilled. only thing i have outstanding is an asus 3070 coming from amazon US (all fees paid) for a confusing 463 - that was too good to cancel - will likly go to a close friend, had people on some of the discord server offering £950 for my 3080 in cash - a few of the currys bots are also freely available now so its getting even worse.

Are the bots buying bots or just scrapers for stock notifications? If it's the former, I'll never get the 3080 TUF :/

That's disheartening. Curry's put in a Queue-It system that makes it more difficult for humans now. I guess I just have to wait for Scan.

Currys is just the worst in my experience. Also don't fall for their PC World Business website, showed plenty of stock for RTX 3070 but haven't refunded some people in months. even though they had no stock and were the ones to cancel.

You're not the first person I've heard this from. There's something not right going onthere. Can you implement a charge back oor whatever the term is?

their stock doesn't update in real-time, last week there were some 3080s showing for reasonable prices and loads of people bought them, and the stock didn't update. trust pilot rating is err awful: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www...business.co.uk

This is great information, thanks! Know a few people who ordered (as far back as December), were told there was no stock, and have yet to receive their refunds

Currys have fallen so far behind the times. They desperately need to make changes to their ecommerce. Honestly shocking they haven't had more serious issues.

Honestly, how hard is it to implement a captcha? They're complicit.
