I'm glad to hear this was a happy endning. It seems lucky that there was even stock available for an RMA!
Personally, I had some bad experiences with RMA's at Scan some years ago and vowed never to use them again.

Hi there sorry to hear of the crapp innards of this gpu How long did you have it before it died,I hope you have a no problems with the replacement brand new one. Hope I don't undergo the same process ?I'm hoping I get treated similar by scan and EVGA when my EVGA 3090ftw3 dies as I've preordered a prebuilt 3xs sytem with this card.Need a top gpu and pc as my current is ancient i7 930@4ghz from overclockers UK in June 2010.Scan 3xs sytem cost£3099.98 with ryzen 9 5900x .Fingers crossed on the OCP sytem in the evga 3090 I get, or it's RMA dpd paper instead of gpu until services rendered by the sellers.Got to pre 08/11/21 stage 3 build to cancel don't want to as no other option for price and parts

I don't understand what you are saying. You have ordered a system from Scan which hasn't arrived yet and that system has a 3090 in it but you are worrying that your gpu is suffering the same even though you haven't received it yet?

Hi I rearranged it for your better understanding yes in plain scan are going to start build stage 3 on 8/11/21. I need a new pc with top gpu, initially I was looking at a scan custom built pc with a3080 I added the price up with ryzen 9 5900x with whatever else I needed it came to £2850, then I saw same kinda set up cpu etc with 3090 was only £250 more.However I'm reading and watching videos about the OCP sytem on evga 3090 and gigabyte 3090 is not set right hense they're deaths?
