    Anything cheap will do then

Cheapest pci-e card, or even a pci card.

Ive got a 6 series nvidia card with my NF4 A8N Delux. Good mobo. Good range of cards. Though i think most things now-a-days are going to be aimed at 3d. With my card you could alwase push up the 2d clock speed. I think the only reason its set lower is to save on power and noise for genrall apps. Corect me if im wrong.

Automaton, can I ask why you want an nForce4 board specifically? If it's performance with the best 2D image quality, then I think you might be better served by an AGP-based board and something like a Matrox P650. They're not cheap, a P650 could set you back £100 or so, but they DO offer dual DVI out, and the 2D image quality is fantastic. You can forget about HL2 though...

edit: I agree, Jo, but I think he may be stuck with either an NF3 or K8T800 board. That said, 2D stuff isn't going to stress out the AGP bus anyway; I haven't seen a PCI-E Matrox on sale yet, though I could just have missed it.

Further edit: My mistake - shopmatrox.com lists the 128MB PCIe 650 for £139!

Perhaps you could even go a mobo using the new ATi chipset with onboard x300 level graphics.
