Info on panels in lcd monitors

A few weeks ago me and some friends started a page in which we tried to collect information on various lcd monitors - who is the panel manufacturer, what is the type of panel that is built in (MVA, S-IPS, TN...), number of colors, etc.

This is a non-profit community effort, and now it has reached a usable state, although it is still work in progress. The site is in hungarian, but the various tables are self-explanatory. I thought you might find these links useful:

Thanks for the tip. Currently we are working on filtering the table (so you can opt to show only this or that vendor) - but will upgrade it with your suggestion when we are finished

Molnarcs - as a suggestion, you should try and link to more reviews (particularly those from Xbits which are excellent). Its a personal bugbear of mine that manufacturers response time specs are so misleading.

Currently, for the next week or two we don't update the tables, because we are trying to write an interface that uses the possibilities of the sql database better. You will be able to order the list according to various criteria (panel type, colors, size, manufacturer, etc.), enter more complex queries (for instance: you want to see only 19'' IPS monitors) and such.

Next thing I'll do will be to make accessing these tables more obvious to non-hungarian speakers directly on the homepage. This is a 4-5 people effort for now, but once the new table is complete, it would be easier to update it (currently everything is entered in html, which might be tedious for some people), thus more people will work on it hopefully. You will see more frequent updates (including suggestions like links to more reviews, inclusion of new models, etc.) when the new frontend is in place.
