LCD Panels - thinnest bezal around?

Anyone know what the thinnest bezalled panel available is?

Thinking about going mad and replacing my CTX PV-720A 17" LCD panel for two 17" panels (maybe bigger) to run side-by-side. I could get another PV-720A on E-Bay, but the two bezals together would actually seperate the screens by nearly 4 inches!

Obviously I am a gaming freak, but I also do design work and having the extra screen real estate would be a massive bonus. I believe that two 17" panels should still be cheaper than a single 20". Plus it is handy to be able to actually play HL2 at the native resolution of the panel - I currently do that on my CTX panel and it looks gorgeous. I would imagine that running HL2 at 1280x1024 on a native 1600x1200 panel would look a bit nasty.

BTW - got a XFX GeForece 6800GT Dual-DVI board which I guess is capable of running HL2 at 1600x1200, but probably not at extreme frame rates.

The one I'm using at the moment - on a course today - is pretty thin (10mm approx.):

Forgot to mention that the image quality is very good - probably the best I have seen on a 17" LCD to date (can't really test it for games but flash animations look pretty smooth @ 30fps ... not a very test I know but that's all I can give you - go read a review)

Remember most 17" panels run 1280x1024 native and won't do 1600x1200. You'll need a 20.1" (posibly high-end 19") to achieve that. As a result your gfx should cope fine.

Yes, those NEC's are pretty damn thin. A colleague of mine has two of the 19" 1980SXi running side by side and she likes winding me up about it. I have two LCD1810's which I have a 3.5" gap between my two actual panels. That would kill me at home!

Guess I'll have to wait for the Minority Report Surround Screen technology to come about
