Wow, seem to have lost track of this thread. Tons o' comments

To answer in order of my last post:

Permanent display: nope, I got a DVI splitter box for £100ish off eBay and it mirrors to my 17" Samsung Syncmaster

How many queens, LOL roughly Rs. 400,000, so £2000

    ..and Pyle hates me rofl!

Just picked up a Monster brand Toslink cable here in S'pore and that's gonna hook the PS2 too the Logitech setup. Gonna bring back my 1.8Ghz G5 from Leeds home in December and then I'll have full digital out for audio and will relocate the mini in another area of the house for Mom to use

Sitting that close to a 42" PDP even if it is a high res model you will still see individual pixels. I currently sit 3m from mine and would never dream of using it for constant PC use. The image quality on them is not as good as a CRT (or TFT for that matter). Bigger is not always better.

Good old composite - bah, should be disposed of like 5 1/4 inch floppies.

P.S. I can't take anyone seriously who's car sig quotes "tax disk holder" and "double cup holder" on a 1.4 Polo.

The res on that looks awful - you WILL go blind if you use that for anything other than PS2/DVDs
Oh - I missed the bit where you said you have a separate 17"
The res will probably be the same on the 17" as that one
Not a bad idea for a setup, if you got the space!

It has a plethora of inputs, got the mini connected via DVI and the PS2 via good old composite.

I've tried a few DVDs and they play really really well. Fast action scenes are displayed flawlessly and even Anime played on the mini looks awesome. Watched a couple downloaded episodes of '24' and 'Lost' and they looked great too.

This will be the default display for the mini here and I got a few interesting pictures to post in a bit. Simply put, I'm loving it

HAHA, Actually the TDH looks quite funky and the double cup holder will be a plus considering I got my iPod sitting in the main side holder

Mmm... mac bashing what fun. Anyways as I said before the mini will be replaced with my G5 (currently at my buddies place in Birmingham) and I have the signal from the machine split to both displays. I just have the plasma off when I'm working, and when I want to watching something, start up the plasma, move back and enjoy. Maybe a wireless keyboard n' mouse are in order...

Mike, is there much of a picture quality drop when using a splitter? I know there is on VGA ones I have used before.
