Sold mine a couple of months ago, no regrets tbh Nice monitor, but still too much money to spend on a screen! (Even at the price it was before the hike)

Pics in here [56k maybe not]

Ok guys, here it is on my desk

    Sample from WMVHD "Striker"

Sample from WMVHD "Taxi 3 Trailer"

    Sample from WMVHD "Robotica"

all the HD content is 1080i and speakers are Logitech Z680 which give the idea of size.

Could a mod change post title to have a pic warning for 56kers please?

If anyone's interested in buying a 2405fpw, I'm selling mine. As I don't think I've got 50 posts here, I can't advertise stuff on hexus yet, so I've posted this up on overclockers:-

    Link

Apologies if I'm not allowed to link to something I'm selling - please take it down if it's against forum rules.

    Cheers!

How does the 2005FPW compare height wise (screen) to the 2405FPW?

I currently have the 2405FPW and was looking to get another monitor to plug into my Shuttle which is to become a Linux/Media PC (so eventually Ill be watching Sky on it). I had debated about getting another 2405FPW but Im thinking a 2005FPW would probably be more appropriate... but I don't want it to look too out of place next to the 24

i got mine as a business cutomer with 20% off promotion in total i paid only 547 quid, and i recived it within 5 working days i just saw the prices gone up to 1200quid

i use to own a 2005fpw then returned it due to light leakage issues so i bought the 2405fpw instead, the 2405fpw is much much bigger so yeah it will look out of place if ur putting it beside each other.

The pics look a bit compressed, almost looks the same as the 2001 sitting on the end of my desk except for the A4 pic.
That`s what the wife wanted hers for (more likely just cos I had 2 Dells) as she does page editing and the screen going A4 is perfect for compositing.
I also like the extra real estate for the pic by pic. The 2005 just wasn`t quite big enough.

Actually, it doesn't look too bad. I think I made the right choice, although I've already had to return the first one I got due to backlight issues/dead pixels

I sold mine around a month after I got it Now I know it was a wise choice because I'm still in Uni accomodation, and when I move out, I wouldn't be able to fit the monitor in its box AND all my other stuff in the car!!!!
