Display Ideas..

Lo all,

I'm currently doing up my bedroom and I am stuck for ideas (lack of knowledge really) on what displays I can go for.

Basically I am moving my PC (Shuttle SB51G) into my bedroom, and I have one of them Digimate 17" TFT's from Aria (analogue).

Now, I want a freeview box (recommendations?), a new TV (only if flatscreen) and my dvd player / PS2 + VHS all need to connect to this screen.

What are my various options for displays? I've got a fair bit of wallspace so could wallmount an LCD TV, but I heard that they are not very good. And also pretty costly. Do they still burn an image onto the screen if you watch the same channel a lot? I.E. the red dot on Sky Sports.

Would I be better off with a TV Out card in my PC and use my current monitor? How would I connect my other perpherials?

I'm really open to options here, and the key is value for money, whilst still maintaining good quality. I haven't got masses of money to spend as I'm getting a new carpet, new wardrobes, new bed and wallpaper etc. Complete overhaul!

42 inch plazma screens are getting reasonably cheap i saw one at dabs or aria or something like that which many people who had bought it recommended.
