    TFT Advice

I am after a 17'' TFT monitor. Because of price restrictions i have narrowed it down to:

    AG NEOVO F417

    LG 1715S

Any advice about the above would be great, or any other recommendations. I will be using it for gaming and ordinary pc work. Thanks

    tft

how much are you looking to spend?

a good budget tft is the relisys TL795-RU thats about £160 not the best looking though. but it does have a dvi connection, speakers, and good response time for gaming.

if you looking to splash out then the viewsonic VX724 is the best 17 tft for quality and performance.

I bought the LG1715S about a year ago now and have loved it ever since Its a truly fantastic TFT. It will play games great, with no motion ghosting, and it goes without saying that for general office work, word processing etc, its crystal clear.

Only downside is the lack of DVI, but the analogue connection does me and my 6800GT graphics have always looked just fine

If you could squeeze just a little more (10-20quid) I would recomend the E431S.

Have you considered the AG Neovo M17?

Dabs have it in stock and I don't want to order off them but may have to as it's cheaper than the F417.

TFT monitors - it is all depending what you would like to do with (or get out of) your monitor

F-417 is a good entry level model. What does this mean?
It has only got an Analogue connector. (NO DVI) It has no built-in speakers.
    It uses a 12ms panel.
