Aha...this is a bump..but also a slump..(for lack of a better rhyme).

I saw this and was so excited...have been having problems for as long as I can remember with my Nv 7900gt.

I went to the troubleshooting tab only to find Write Combining option wasn't there for me, only the hardware acceleration option. *sigh* THis is perhaps because I'm running Win2k Pro? I know not.

I will try lowering the acceleration though.

If anyone still keeps tabs on this thread I'd love to know if there is an equivilent way for windows 2k pro.
